About the role
You’ll build a compliance function that’s a product strength, not a blocker. You’ll work hand in hand with engineering and the AI team to make monitoring smarter, and own our relationships with regulated partners.
What you'll do
- Build and run KYC/AML and transaction-monitoring programs
- Manage relationships and reporting with regulated partners
- Translate regulation into clear, shippable product requirements
- Shape AI-assisted monitoring with the AI/Data team, keeping it explainable
- Lead audits and regulatory engagement
What we're looking for
- Experience leading compliance at a fintech or financial institution
- Deep knowledge of EU/UK AML and payments regulation
- Pragmatic, product-minded approach to controls
- Comfort partnering with engineering and data teams
- Excellent written communication
Nice to have
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ICA, ACAMS)
- Experience with model governance / responsible AI
- Multi-jurisdiction experience
